International Institute of Business Analysis

The purpose of the International Institute of Business Analysis is to be the leading world-wide professional association developing and maintaining standards for the practice of business analysis and for the certification of practitioners. The IIBA continues to develop the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, the certification program, and the creation of local chapters.

B2T Training is a member of the IIBA because our vision of the Business Analyst profession is consistent with the goals of the IIBA. We feel that it is critical for Business Analysts to have a professional organization that supports their career development. We have actively participated on several of the IIBA committees including the formation of U.S. Chapters, the BABOK, and Corporate Sponsorship.

The IIBA certification (Certified Business Analysis Professional) rolled out in November 2006. To remain a truly independent industry organization, the IIBA is bound by ISO standards to not grandfather individual vendor certification programs into the CBAP program. B2T Training fully supports the development of the IIBA certification program.
