CBAP, CCBA and ECBA
The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) is an independent non-profit professional association serving the growing field of business analysis. B2T Training is a charter member and an Endorsed Education Provider.
The IIBA’s BA Competency-Based Certification Framework includes 3 levels in their Core Certification: Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA™), Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA®), and Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®). These certifications are based on the standards within their body of knowledge: A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge®, v3 (BABOK®).
Within the key concepts for business analysis, the IIBA® introduces the Business Analyst Core Concept Model (BACCM™), which brings together six concepts that must have a common meaning for all business analysts: change, need, solution, stakeholder, value, and context. This model aims to provide a common terminology that is applicable in any kind of organization, project, or perspective related to business analysis.
